Tohoku INOAC donates 300 cushions made from scrap
2025.06.25
Tohoku INOAC, a group company of INOAC Corporation, donated 300 cushions to the bullfighting tournament in Iwate Prefecture on June 5, 2025. The cusions are made from scrap of polyurethane foam and synthetic fiber. A presentation ceremony was held on the day, attended by the mayor of Kuji City and the representative director of Tohoku INOAC.
As part of its reuse efforts, the INOAC Group makes effective use of scraps generated during production and fabrication.
For example, "Mixel," which is made by finely crushing and solidifying scrap urethane foam, is reused as the filling for sofas and cushions. Apart from that, "Bafter" is made from stacked synthetic fibers using olefin-based resins that are easy to recycle.
We will continue to promote the further improvement of environmentally friendly technologies, such as the development of sustainable materials and chemical recycling.
