University Students visit Hakuba office to conduct SDGs status survey
2024.10.11
Students from Chiba University of Commerce visited our Hakuba office and we introduced them to the SDGs activities that we are working on.
Students studying ethical consumption (socially and environmentally conscious consumption behavior) at the university visited and conducted research at companies based in Hakuba Village, Otari Village, and Omachi City to understand actual efforts that are in line with the SDGs action list developed by Hakuba Valley Tourism General Incorporated Association for businesses.
At the Hakuba office, we explained about the "Insulation Renovation Project," in which INOAC's insulation material "Thermax" is provided to schools and other institutions, as well as SDGs initiatives that involve local residents and businesses.
It was a good opportunity to find hints for future activities for both the students, who are enthusiastic about learning about environmental activities, and the INOAC Group through the discussion on the theme of SDGs actions.
