About Us

We manufacture Foamlite®, basic material for polyurethanes system. We provide it together with relevant manufacturing technique as well as facility and finally offer it to the market as "Foam System". We offer polyurethane raw material MDI, under our brand name Lupranate®. We also produce and sell polyurethane elastomer, Cellasto®, which is widely applied to automotive shock absorbers. As an expert in the industry, we support our customers through our polyurethane technology and know-how.

Company History

1965 Founded Nippon Cellasto Co., Ltd.
1966 Started manufacture of microcell polyurethane elastomers, Cellasto.
1967 Started manufacture of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers.
1976 Changed the name to Polyurethane Kasei Co., Ltd.
1999 Transferred MDI business of BASF Japan Ltd. to Polyurethane Kasei Co., Ltd. and change the name to BASF INOAC POLYURETHANES LTD.
